Admission Line (866) 396-3655
Jackson House Recovery Centers offers support to individuals preparing for residential drug addiction treatment, as well as to their family members. We want to provide a caring and guided start to recovery, helping residents feel comfortable at the center.
Our goal is to ensure that everyone who walks through our doors to begin treatment gets a positive start and the care they need.
There are different ways that individuals can be referred to one of our programs, and it all starts with a phone call to 866-396-3566. Our team is positioned to talk through what is needed for program admission and to answer questions regarding that process and in-center treatment.
There are multiple ways an individual can be referred to a program:
Recognizing the need for professional support is an important factor in seeking treatment, and individuals may have mulltiple reasons to refer themselves to a drug addiction recovery program. Reasons for reaching out include a feeling that life is out of control, financial problems resulting from an addiction, self-isolation from loved ones, and continually feeling numb.
There are four steps to our admissions process, and they are intended to be easy to understand and to follow. We want our admissions process to be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
Step one is the first call, in which someone—either you or someone else who is referring you—reaches out to us. We gather information during the first call so that we can figure out the best way to help. Information regarding the situation and what support the referred individual has are important here.
Step two is the initial assessment. Our team needs to get to know you a little better so that we can understand the challenges that you are facing. During this initial assessment, we will ask questions to help us determine the best way that we can help you. We will also go through your health insurance with you to help identify what you could be asked to pay for treatment.
If it is determined that we can provide the right treatment for you and you agree to begin a recovery program with us, step three is to set a date for your treatment to begin. Attention will be given to whether you need help immediately and other factors that will help in identifying when treatment will start.
The final step is to welcome you to Jackson House Recovery Centers and take care of initial paperwork and introductions.
You may be concerned about how you’re going to pay for treatment and/or how much your insurance will cover, but we will help you go through all of this. We will work with you regarding what insurance coverage we accept, what health insurance does cover, and discuss in-network insurance options.
If you do not have health insurance, that’s okay. We can talk to you about other ways to pay for treatment.
While you might not think about packing as a way to prepare for treatment, this is an important part of the process. Consider what items you might need through your residential drug addiction treatment. Some of the items that we recommend you bring are:
Of course, there are more things that you may want to add to the list, but these are basic items to plan on bringing. You may want to bring, for example, a comfort item that you think will help you on your journey, such as a stuffed toy (belonging either to you or someone you love), a photo of your loved ones, etc.
In making packing decisions, recognize that there are items residents are not allowed to bring into the center:
Jackson House Recovery Centers encourages family involvement, as we understand that a good support network is particularly valuable. We don’t want to cut you off from those who care about you, which is a reason why we have family therapy sessions.
In-person visitation with family members is an option when your treatment provider believes you are ready and when you and your family members are ready for this type of visit. You will be allowed phone calls with family members after you have been in treatment for 72 hours.
