At Jackson House, we’re proud to offer specialized treatments for a wide variety of addictions, including alcohol, cocaine, and prescription medications.
When you’re with us, we’ll utilize our care, experience, and expertise to ensure that you have the tools, coping mechanisms, and resources you need to overcome your addiction.
And our support doesn’t end once you leave the center. We’re strong believers in the power of community, and that’s part of why we offer additional resources and help even after our clients have ended their residential treatment. Our addiction treatment aftercare program provides long-term support to strengthen your recovery treatment, ensuring you have tools and resources to navigate your re-entry into home life.
Our aftercare program is designed to offer guidance, support, and structure to help individuals continue to make progress. While we want residents to feel strong at the end of their residential treatments, we know that how well they transfer into and progress in everyday life after residential treatment also matters.
We help facilitate the transition back into home life by offering a supportive aftercare program for clients to build on the progress they made while with us. This program is to help increase the likelihood that the treatment has positive, long-lasting impacts.
During treatment, residents receive individual counselling, coping skills, and self-care tools, among other supports, to help build a foundation for recovery. Our aftercare program is available to support the integration of those foundations into everyday life.
We’ll provide support for the first sixty days following program completion, offering regular check-ins that can be helpful for long-term recovery. And this support doesn’t just come from our team members, either; you’ll also have access to our thriving alumni group.
At Jackson House, our residential addiction treatments incorporate a strong sense of community and connection because we believe that those two ingredients are vital for overcoming addiction.
Our alumni group, which is composed of past clients who have successfully completed treatment at Jackson House, exists to offer ongoing community and connection to clients once they’ve left our facility.
The alumni calendar of events includes regular social meetups, park outings, peer-to-peer support, and volunteering opportunities that allow alumni to give back to the community.
Want to know more about our alumni group and how it can support your recovery from addiction? Check out this Jackson House podcast featuring our alumni coordinator, Melissa Ramon.
The sense of community at Jackson House plays a vital role in the success of our addiction treatment programs. The alumni group provides an avenue for continuing the connections they made during residential treatment.
The alumni group also offers the opportunity to make new connections with Jackson House alumni. Over time, these connections can be highly influential in helping clients maintain sobriety.
Our alumni events offer a level of fun and a sense of purpose that can have a valuable, long-term positive impact. From get-togethers in the park to pot luck dinners and beyond, our alumni events provide past clients the chance to celebrate their success with fellow alumni in a casual, pleasant environment.
You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in the volunteering activities organized by the alumni group, which offer a wholesome and enjoyable way to give back to the community.
While you’ll leave our facility with tools and resources to succeed, remaining sober may not always be easy. Participating in alumni group activities is a great way to access encouragement and positivity from people who have been on similar journeys as you have.
It may be much easier to reach your sobriety goal when you know that you have other people beside you who can offer support and encouragement just when you need it the most—and that’s just the kind of thing that the Alumni Group is there to do.
Residential addiction treatment programs show that, in the right environment, sobriety is very much possible. It’s what happens after clients leave the in-person treatment facility that determines the long-term success of the addiction recovery program.
Aftercare support is just one of the many services we provide. Ultimately, we’re here to support your recovery from addiction, from the first phone call until well after the completion of your residential addiction treatment.
