Portland Mental Health Crisis Center Under Development

The Premier Gear & Machine Works Building in Portland got a major facelift in 2020 when developer Vanessa Sturgeon converted it into industrial-chic office spaces. The only problem? Nobody wanted to lease offices during the pandemic. So, Vanessa went to city officials to see how her brand new building could best serve the Portland community. Previously, the area only had one mental health and addiction treatment center with just 16 beds - hardly adequate to care for the entire Portland metropolis. Jackson House's new partnership with Sturgeon Development Partners will add residential treatment beds, as well as a reliable back door for aftercare so that people aren't abruptly turned out to fend for themselves. We are excited to expand into the Pacific Northwest and to serve the Portland community!
