Deciding to get sober is a life-changing decision, and it’s okay if you’re feeling unsure, scared, or overwhelmed. At Jackson House Recovery Centers, we’re here to help you overcome those obstacles and give you a chance at a brighter future.
Many people are hesitant to detox because of the toll withdrawal can take on the body and the mind. However, your detox experience doesn’t have to be painful or isolating. Our team has helped many people safely detox from drugs or alcohol in a comfortable, compassionate setting. We understand the many reasons why people develop addictions, and we are not here to judge. Our job is to provide you with the support you need to heal.
When you first arrive at Jackson House Recovery Centers, we spend time getting to know more about you, your medical history, your substance use, your goals, and any concerns you may have. From there, we’ll create an individualized detox plan that’s just for you.
Throughout your stay, you’ll be cared for by our highly experienced team of medical and clinical staff. Not only do we monitor your health, but we also offer emotional support during the detox process. With round-the-clock staff on-site, you can talk to someone whenever you need to.
Many people benefit from medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. If MAT is recommended for your specific situation, we’ll explain your options and make sure you’re comfortable with your plan.
The length of each client’s stay is determined on a case-by-case basis. It typically takes about three to seven days for all substances to be removed from your body, sometimes longer. While you’re here, you’ll have space to rest, recover, and prepare for what comes next.
Where you choose to detox can have a profound impact on your experience. Here’s what makes detox at Jackson House different:
