SUDRC, Outreach Director

Noble White

Noble is a Dallas, Texas native who attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. During his own struggle with addiction, he moved to San Diego to receive treatment. Noble is currently an SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor) that received training at UCSD extension’s Substance Use Disorder program, and he is also a member of the advisory board for UCSD's Drug and Counseling Center Certification Program

He has been working in behavioral health for the past 4 ½ years, and he spent the majority of that time at Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient in Encinitas. He grew with the company as it went from 2 sober living homes to a large substance use disorder program with 40 beds.

“I choose to work at Jackson House because I wanted to be apart of their growing behavioral health treatment program. It is important for me to help provide resources for people with Substance Use Disorders and mental health struggles.”

Outside of work, Noble practices amateur Muay Thai. Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand; a form of Kickboxing. Last November, he traveled to Muay Thai training ground in Phuket, Thailand to compete in an amateur tournament.

“Mental health is a journey. It is not a straight forward path where you reach a destination. Jackson House is here to be a space where you can take the first steps.”
